What does this thing do?
Which one, the worm or the spaceship?
There are a lot of things in nature that one can look at and imagine science fiction writers got their inspiration from, though a flatworm was not really one I would have thought of! It’s very interesting to find someone likes flatworms. I remember studying these and thinking how cool it was they regenerate. Now, thinking about what is the original worm and what is not, or are both original, I think I’m getting a headache! Only kidding–love your imagine here.
@Reality: Thank you for your kind words! Yes, it was very amusing to me to find this similarity. I have always been a science fiction fan and I happen to use flatworms as part of my own scientific research. I wonder if any of the people that designed the new cylon raiders had a biology background! I am actually inquiring about it for a book I am writing… stay tuned!
