I want to celebrate the release of DFSD with all of you. I am organizing a virtual interactive launch celebration on YouTube! It will be on November 21, 2021 from 7 to 8 pm EST (although if we are having a lot of fun, I will definitely stay online longer). Here’s what will happen:
- I will have a Co-host, Ms. Melissa McCue-McGrath; she is a friend, fellow science and nature nerd and enthusiast, as well as the talented host of BewilderBeastsPod, a podcast about how animals influence humanity (link below). We will engage in a lively conversation about the book (of course), but we’ll go wherever the science takes us. She is absolutely awesome. If you like me, you will love her!
- We will take questions from the audience (and we may even know the answers!).
- I will read a couple of selections from the book for your listening pleasure and…
- There will be prizes! (More on the surprise prizes soon).
BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE!
- We will also have another launch party, this one in Spanish!
- For this version, my co-host will be Ms. Sofia Martinez Villalpando, also a fellow nerd and biology enthusiast. She is also a videoblogger, entrepreneur, and host of The Biologist Apprentice (link below). She is also absolutely awesome, and I guarantee you will love her as well! The Spanish version will take place on Nov 26, 2021, 7-8pm
